Pour 1 cup of regular laundry detergent into the washing machine. Turn on the washing machine at a low speed. Wash the mop head for 3 to 5 minutes on the washing machine. Never put the mop alone in the washing machine.

Use a vacuum or a counter-dusting brush to remove visible soil from the mop head. Remove dust as much as you can.

You need to make a cleaning solution with warm water and detergent. Take a bucket, pour 1 to 2 gallons of warm water and add regular laundry detergent into the water.
